RAKFOND AND SciSTORLAB OPEN A JOINT COMPETITION OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH PROJECTS IN THE AREA OF ONCOIMUNOLOGY

This week, the Nobel Prize award ceremony was held, and the world was celebrating the triumph of scientific research in oncoimmunology, which led to breakthrough results in the treatment of some malignant tumors.

Today, NGO “Foundation for Cancer Research Support” (RakFond) and SciStorLab, LLC open a joint program to support research projects in the field of oncoimmunology. The purpose of this competition is to provide additional opportunities to young and established scientists working in Russia for conducting fundamental and exploratory experimental research in the area of studying molecular and cellular mechanisms of interaction between tumors and the immune system.

The award includes reagents and consumables from SciStorLab’s catalog for a total amount of no more than 150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand) rubles and funding from RakFond in the amount of up to 100,000 (one hundred thousand) rubles.

Applications can be submitted until February 1, 2019. Detailed conditions for participating in the competition and instructions for submitting applications are posted on RakFond’s web site: http://www.rakfond.org/rfp-2018-02-en/.

There will be one winner in the competition; the results will be announced on or before April 15, 2019.
